Welcome to the Mirror Pond Project You are invited to participate in guiding the future of Mirror Pond through a community outreach program intended to find a single broadly supported plan (vision) that will guide immediate and long-term responses to the build up of silt deposits and health of Mirror Pond. The final 'preferred plan' (vision) will be used in fund raising, construction plans, and permitting efforts needed to make your final plan a reality.
Step 3: Identify a Preferred Strategy (Vision/Option) for Immediate and Long Term Actions: Work
continues through the Mirror Pond Ad Hoc Committee towards a final preferred alternative including in depth
conversations with key stakeholders and targeted research into legal and
permitting issues associated with possible actions.
The launch of this website was followed by a series of public meetings that provided project background, invited questions from the public, and reviewed future 'plans' (visions). It is the intent of this website and related public meetings to make the Mirror Pond Visioning process as open and transparent as possible.
